Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Consultation Guidlines An evidence-based practice project involves assembling a team to conduct a thorough literature review and critique to rate the strength and quality of the evidence and determine whether or not to translate into practice. It is helpful to align your project with the goals and strategic plan of the MGH Patient Care Services. You and your team will need to have your PICO question ready to submit the request.
A clinical librarian from the Treadwell Library can assist teams with developing the PICO question and identifying relevant literature. Munn Center staff can assist teams with project and team development; consult with teams about their critique results; and coach translation projects. For more resources to guide your EBP efforts please visit the Evidence-Based Practice portal page on the Excellence Every Day website. updated 8.1.19 |
